more americans trust mccain on economy, taxes; the economist says 'voting for obama a risk' but backs him anywayFriday, October 31st, 2008
the editors write ‘But we acknowledge it is a gamble. Given Mr Obama’s inexperience, the lack of clarity about some of his beliefs and the prospect of a stridently Democratic Congress, voting for him is a risk.’ and then the go on to endorse him. which is sort of a backhanded compliment, don’t you think.
at the moment according to rassmussen reports, more americans trust john mccain on taxes and the economy. is this the joe-the-plumber effect?
what is it about the new anti-sarah palin ad? some women are calling it sexist. well, that is one woman who appeared on fox. just because palin doesn’t have an ivy league education, doesn’t mean that she’s dumb. perhaps it could be a good idea for people to take a look at her record as governor of alaska as well as her record as mayor of her home town and draw their own conclusions. and see that she is managing a state apparently with 20,000 plus employees and a budget in the billions. all this information is freely available on the internet.

according to gallup, the poll of likely voters–traditional, has mccain but 2 points shy of overtaking obama. for registered voters, they are separated by 7 points.

last week, it was announced that lindsay lohan would be cut from ugly betty. some reports had her guest appearance being cut from 6 to 4 episodes, other’s mentioned that she was being x’d from all the episodes she’d already shot.
there are rumors flying around about a feud between america ferrera and lohan.
lohan is a terrible actresses. the only reason she’s a publicist’s wet dream is because she’s such a f**k up. maybe she was pulling the ratings down.
a t.v. reporter in florida asked joe biden if he recognized this quote from karl marx “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” trying to drive home the connection between taxing those who work in order to distribute money to those who don’t or work less hard.
after the interview, the obama campaign denied the reporter the opportunity to speak with biden’s wife. although maybe biden did too.
