karl lagerfeld, in today’s guardian newspaper declares that the only women who hate thin models are moms who hang out in front of their television set pigging out on crisps. this in response to germany’s brigitte magazine’s declaration that in the january issue, they’re planning on not using professional models but women with ‘normal bodies.’
now it is not clear that this is only for the january issue or this will go on forever. could this have something to do with the financial crisis and germany’s financial problems that this teutonic read for all women great and tiny now wants to focus more on bavarian beauties rather than the likes of heid klum–pre-pregnacies. the price per day is probably infinitely more reasonable.
