wall street journal wants new marketing director with ipad experience

as someone once famously said, if apple had more female employees they never would’ve released a product called the iPad. but since they did and the tablet only came out last march, why is it that the wall street journal is looking to hire a director in their digital division whose got mobile data product experience –specifically with the iPhone, iPad and android. aside for the iPhone–which 1.0 version is a few years old, the iPad is brand new. yes, loads of newspaper organizations have been developing s**t for these tablets since prior to the launch. but that’s less than 12 months experience.

is this yet another example of the term ‘made in america’ being analagous to ‘low quality?’
